About Me

Jennifer is an accredited yoga therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). She spent nearly 7 years in India, where she completed her initial 300-hour yoga teacher training and taught yoga. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jennifer was introduced to the traditional teachings of T. Krishnamacharya, experiencing firsthand the profound healing potential of yoga therapy. Inspired by these teachings, she pursued further training to become a certified yoga therapist at YogaVahini in Chennai, India, under the guidance of Saraswati Vasudevan, who studied directly with world-renowned TKV Desikachar for 17 years. Jennifer has accumulated over 1,000 hours of specialized training in yoga therapy and Ayurveda, alongside an additional 500 hours of additional yoga training, including courses in pre- and post-natal yoga.

Jennifer is deeply passionate about helping others heal, especially in today’s high-stress world. She brings a compassionate, supportive and individualized approach to her students, ensuring yoga is accessible to all by meeting people where they are while guiding them to where they want to be. To date, she has worked with a diverse range of individuals, including peri- and post-menopausal women, people navigating addiction, the elderly, and many others.

As a sports enthusiast, Jennifer is an avid runner (including two Boston Marathon), enjoys competing in triathlons, and holds black belts in both kickboxing and Taekwondo.
